Welcome to the St Christopher’s Church web site. St Christopher’s,
part of the Church of England, serves the parish of Thornhill, on the eastern boundary of Southampton, and has close links with other Christians in the community. Jesus welcomed everyone and everyone is welcome at St Christopher’s.
Jesus said ‘I am among you as one who serves.’ (Luke 22:27) He wants people to develop their Christian faith and spiritual understanding. St Christopher’s aims to provide a centre for Christian worship and to offer pastoral and practical support.
Faith is put into practice by being involved in many initiatives and groups in Thornhill, including a close association with the schools. There are a variety of styles of worship and hopefully there is something for everyone.
St Christopher’s is at the heart of the community of Thornhill and everyone is invited to discover God’s love in their lives.
We are a Fair Trade Church and have the
Eco Church Bronze Award.

If you or anyone you know needs any help or support whilst in self-isolation please contact Duncan (023) 8178 7435 and he will be pleased to offer any help he is able to arrange where at all possible.
For older people Silverline (08004708090) is also an option, they offer advice, information and more importantly a friendly chat. They will also set up a friendship telephone circle with people who have similar interests.
The church hall is currently available for hire on Wednesday evenings when restrictions are lifted. Hire of the hall costs £20 per hour or £36 for a three-hour regular weekly booking. To discuss booking the hall or the Freeman Room (for smaller gatherings) contact Martin.
