Welcome to the St Christopher’s Church web site. St Christopher’s,
part of the Church of England, serves the parish of Thornhill, on the eastern boundary of Southampton, and has close links with other Christians in the community. Jesus welcomed everyone and everyone is welcome at St Christopher’s.
Jesus said ‘I am among you as one who serves.’ (Luke 22:27) He wants people to develop their Christian faith and spiritual understanding. St Christopher’s aims to provide a centre for Christian worship and to offer pastoral and practical support.
Faith is put into practice by being involved in many initiatives and groups in Thornhill, including a close association with the schools. There are a variety of styles of worship and hopefully there is something for everyone.
St Christopher’s is at the heart of the community of Thornhill and everyone is invited to discover God’s love in their lives.
We are a Fair Trade Church and have the
Eco Church Bronze Award.
In line with Government instructions as of March 24th St Christopher’s and all places of worship will be closed to the public, with the exception of funerals, until further notice.
